Sourcing for private food brands is always a complex issue for retailers and more so due to increased globalisation of food supply chains. To address the challenges involved, Aligned Business was founded in 2009 by passionate food entrepreneurs with the sole objective of “Partnering to win”. We believe that “Our Business is to improve your Business”. Our team consists of highly experienced food category and private brand experts who work along with retailers on a wide gamut of activities ranging from product development to sourcing. Since its inception, Aligned has been a trusted supply partner for some of the most prestigious private food brand programs of global retailers, supermarket chains and food services companies.

Over the years, Aligned has developed expertise in frozen foods. New Product Development is an on-going activity for us and is driven by food innovation and changing global consumer trends. We have developed strong expertise in frozen food categories like seafood/ shrimps, vegetables, fruits and snacks in both Ready-to-Eat (RTE) as well as Ready-to-Cook (RTC) forms. Aligned has been a pioneer in frozen spiralized vegetables made from zucchini/ courgette  (zoodles), beetroots, butternut squash etc. We extensively collaborate with our farm extension partners and farmers to ensure quality supply of raw material needed for processing.

Launching new products in private brand is usually a long drawn affair. “Why reinvent the wheel?” when it is about developing private brand products. We have been working on a wide range of food products and our experience helps in substantially reducing the time required for product development and tie-up with the suppliers.  We partner with some of the best manufacturers/ food processors globally to source food products that meet the international quality standards. Thus our customers are able to introduce their Private Brands faster without having to bother much about the back-end supply support.
